So as of recording this show... we still don't have a new president. But it's getting oh so close as votes trickle in. With that said I'm musically reflecting back on the last few days of election ups and downs with an eclectic, yet sarcastic selection of Soul, Indie Rock and Hip-Hop.

WASHINGTON — Judges in Georgia and Michigan quickly dismissed Trump campaign lawsuits Thursday, undercutting a campaign legal strategy to attack the integrity of the voting process in states where the result could mean President Donald Trump's defeat.

The rulings came as Democrat Joe Biden inched closer to the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the White House, and Trump and his campaign promised even more legal action based on unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud.

Adrian Tam is the new state House representative for District 22 covering the Kakaako and Waikiki area.

He will make history as the only declared LGBTQ elected official in the state Legislature.

Tam says his main objective will be to diversify Hawaii’s economy away from just tourism, construction and military.

Beyond economic diversification, Tam wants to focus on public safety and homelessness.

He’s aware his election is noteworthy.

Results in Hawaii’s first-ever vote by mail election were severely delayed last night by long lines of residents casting votes -- in person.

Although 2020 was billed as Hawaii’s first all-mail-in election, voters always have to read the fine print.

While the goal was for all registered voters to cast their ballots by mail or drop box, traditional, in-person voting was still available on every island.
