Keeping the music mellow and reflective for this show. Blending in bits of indie folk into downtempo and jazz.

Keeping the music upbeat and filled with some afro-funky music in the 1st hour, and then some sunny indie surf in the 2nd hour. I'm also mixing in a little world music, new music, and upcoming Atherton acts.

Smoothing out all the wrinkles in your brain with a collection of fuzzed out psychedelic rock and world music.

Just picking music on the fly for this show, keeping it eclectic and fun.

Moody and mellow sounds dominate this late night session of Bridging the Gap.

Keeping the rhythm steady and bumping for this Friday evening session of Bridging the Gap.  Excited to be rolling out some rare French Disco, and new Anchorsong and Gerardo Frisina.

I'm doing it!
I'm finally doing it!
Since most of our signal will be turned off this evening due to generator maintenance (and the listener numbers will be down), I'm putting together a show entirely of guilty pleasures and songs that I wouldn't usually have the courage to play on the radio.  Prepare to enter one of the darker, cheesier corners of my mind, and then listen to me try to rationalize them to you.

Since Jazz Legend Bob James is coming into town this weekend for a show at The Blue Note, I'm going to use tonight's show to explore his most famous song "Take Me to the Mardi Gras" and explore some of the more than 400 songs that have used it's famous drum break.

Stringing together songs (on the fly) that uplift the sprit this evening on Bridging the Gap.

It's Monday, and I'm a little under the weather... I think.  So I'm keeping the music and the vibes nice and mellow for this evening.

For this Friday night show, I'm pulling tracks from this upcoming Cuban Jam Session release and mixing in a mixed bag on top of that.

Putting together an eclectic set picked on the fly for this evenings session of Bridging the Gap. Expect new music from BBE, Tru-Thoughts & Aloha Got Soul Records, Gecko Turner and a new announcement for the Atherton season, and more.

Tonight on Bridging the Gap, we're exploring rare groove... mostly rare and unknown soul and funk songs pulled from new compilations being broken up by a few new releases.

For this session of Bridging the Gap, I'm taking a dive into the cool of acid-jazz and downtempo while sprinkling in a little exotica and other tasty treasures.

Pledge Drive eve, and we're going to be exploring the current state of Jazz... weaving in and out of traditional styles and into more experimental offerings.

Filling the late night airwaves under this harvest moon with mellow beats, romantic folk and sophisticated Jazz.

This Saturday, I'm DJing at the Earthdance Festival in Pahala on the Big Island. So I'm using tonight's show to pick out music that I may (or may not) play out there. It's going to be fun, upbeat and filled with global beats.

There are just a few days left in summer with the season offically ending on Saturday. So I'm taking the oppurtunity to put out one last show filled with breezy, laid back slices of sunshine.

With all this music I have piling up, I though it would be good to put together a show of songs from albums that have recently been added to my collection, but are not new releases.

So I was originally going to do a show on  all this music I have piling up... BUT I'm shamefully not prepared for it, and didn't feel up to it anyway, soooo I'm picking a show on the fly. Something I enjoy doing much more than planning it out.  It's pure DJing.

Keeping the music mellow and chilled for this Monday evening session of Bridging the Gap.

Tonight's show is built around the new album from Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band which released their new album "The Serpent's Mouth" earlier today. It's a great excuse to dig into funky/tropical/latin sounds, and set us up for the weekend.
