Sometimes that producer is just as important as the talent. Tonight, we'll be doing a deep dive on Brian Burton, aka Danger Mouse - one of the most prolific alternative producers over the past 15 years. He's had a hand in releases big and small, and has also seen plenty of success as a musician in his own right.

In a slight departure of our typical oevre, we're going to be going pretty heavy this evening. Punk, post-punk, and even some stoner and doom metal to channel some cathartic aggression in the run-up to Halloween. If you don't like loud music, maybe skip this one.

For this very pledge centric show, we'll be running with a lot of really great indie - most of it relatively new. In particular, we'll be putting a lot of emerging female artists from Australia. Most nights I plan to have just a little more music than I end up getting to play. This means that, usually, I'll have a couple of tracks at the end of the night that I don't get to fit into the show. Tonight, however, will be a showcase of all those little odds and ends that never make it into the broadcast.

Tons of new music on display tonight, and for the most part it'll be laidback, mellow tracks featuring world, indie, alternative and some experimental stuff along the way. Kick your feet up for this one.
