There has been a lot of concern about elderly in care homes and a concerted push for more transparency about reporting COVID cases across our state.

Keith Ridley is the Director of the state Department of Health’s Office of Health Care Assurance. He oversees the segment of our community that cares for our kupuna in medical and community facilities.

Hawaii Votes by Mail

The Office of Elections wants  your attention as Hawaii is holding its first election by mail next month. Hawaii residents  have already begun receiving ballots in the mail.  We talked to elections officer Scott Nago about  the changes to expect this time around.

Inaugural Iron Butterfly Challenge

Legacy of Life Hawaii is holding its first ever Iron Butterfly Virtual 5K Challenge. Entrants can run, walk or paddle in a virtual race over the next couple of days. It didn’t start out to be a fundraiser but was meant as a way to connect families helped by organ or tissue donors.
