Panel Aims to Change the Narrative Surrounding Houselessness
No one is unaffected by Hawaii’s housing problem. A panel coming up this weekend has the goal of helping those in Honolulu to understand the issues surrounding homelessness better. It’s called Home Free: Aloha in Art panel at Honolulu museum’s Doris Duke theater Saturday 1pm.

Remembering Craftsman Fred Roster
The 51st statewide juried exhibition opened last night in the main gallery at Linekona. It’s dedicated this year to Honolulu’s beloved sculptor and teacher, the late Fred Roster. There’s a small grouping of his work at the entrance to the exhibit, but it’s nothing like the fabulous array of things in his own home.
