Burt Lum is the Strategy Officer for the Hawaii Broadband Initiative at the State of Hawaii, Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. Before that he was the Executive Director of Hawaii Open Data, a non-profit dedicated to advancing the principles of open data and has more than 30 years in Hawaii's technology and communications sector.


Today on Bytemarks Café, Burt will talk about East Meets West, one of Hawaiʻi's premier tech startup conferences. East Meets West brings investors and entrepreneurs from both sides of the Pacific - from Asia, Hawaiʻi and North America to network and build the tech ecosystem.
